No preference for one in particular, these three tracks beat up severely, a true ode to hatred, this primitive voice seems to come straight from the underworld. Rienaus keeps alive the black flame, and honors the devil with this sumptuous EP.

These three songs were recorded in late 2010. Originally they were supposed to be released as Demo CR-R, but in the end were left unreleased at the time.

Rienaus Espoo, Finland

Band founded in 2009 as a solo project of Mavrofos. Band released three demos before signing to record label KVLT which has released both Rienaus full-lenght albums on different formats(cd, tape, vinyl). During 2015-2016 band toured a lot in Finland and Eastern Europe before starting to work on second album in summer 2016. You can buy official Rienaus products trough KVLT:

The band pays tribute to old-school black metal without becoming a cliché. Their music is exactly what I want when I want to listen to straight-up Second Wave black metal. The riffs were memorable and weren’t diluted by too-long run times; the drums were resonant and powerful without being overpowering, and the songwriting was excellent overall. Incredible. I hope you guys get the rights to release this band’s 2017 album. I’m assuming the label that put that album out is now defunct... can’t find that album anywhere Underbelly Guru
